La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), 74-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Canada upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Burbank (Burbank, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Burbank lost 49-29 in their recent non-league bout against St. Francis (La Canada, CA)

Next up, the Centurions play the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Saugus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 84-37 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA).
