New York High School Basketball - Moore Catholic crushes Staten Island Academy
November 22, 2023: Staten Island, NY 10314 Moore Catholic Mavericks (Staten Island, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Staten Island Academy Tigers (Staten Island, NY), 91-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Moore Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mavericks host St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Luther Cougars (Maspeth, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Staten Island Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
