Alabama High School Basketball - Oxford can't hold off Parker

The Parker Thundering Herd basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Oxford Yellow Jackets to 48 in the Thundering Herd non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Thundering Herd now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gadsden City for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Parker will battle a Titans team coming off a 62-35 non-league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, AL). The Titans record now stands at 4-3.

The Yellow Jackets (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers enter the non-league bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Hoover nipped Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC), 59-42, in a non-league bout.
