November 22, 2023: Kealakekua, HI 96750 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI) and the visiting Punahou Buff n' Blue (Honolulu, HI), saw Konawaena's basketball squad wallop Punahou by a tally of 55-32.
With the victory, Konawaena improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA) to confront the Saints in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 24. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. St. Anthony won 56-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Mililani (Mililani, HI)
Next up, the Buff n' Blue confront the Moanalua Menehune (Honolulu, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 24. Punahou will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Menehune come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 63-53 non-league loss to Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA).
