California High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent fells Santiago
November 22, 2023: Corona, CA 92881 Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), 56-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 12-64 on the season. The travel to Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Sharks play the Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. Santiago will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 85-16 non-league win over Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA).
