The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers to 35 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sabres now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Mooresville for a non-league game on Monday, November 25. South Mecklenburg will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 63-54 non-league win over Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-0.
