November 22, 2024: La Joya, TX 78560 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) and the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), observed Johnson's basketball team overwhelm Juarez-Lincoln by a score of 71-24.
The Jaguars (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX). The WILDCATS come into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Sotomayor crushed Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX), 65-49, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Juarez-Lincoln falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to La Joya (La Joya, TX) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 23. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 0-7. La Joya lost 48-38 in their recent non-league bout against Bridgeland (Cypress, TX)
