Texas High School Basketball - Kingwood holds off Klein
November 22, 2024: Kingwood, TX 77339 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Kingwood Mustangs basketball team scored a close 56-51 triumph over the Klein Bearkats.
The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Cinco Ranch nipped Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bearkats confront the Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 26. Klein will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 58-56 non-league loss to Jay (San Antonio, TX).
