California High School Basketball - Whittier nips Sonora
November 22, 2024: Whittier, CA 90601 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Whittier Cardinals basketball team scored a close 58-52 triumph over the Sonora Raiders.
The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards go into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, El Modena was nudged by Victor Valley (Victorville, CA), 59-43, in a non-league battle.
The Raiders now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra Vista for a non-league battle on Saturday, November 23. Sonora will meet a Dons squad coming off a 56-46 non-league loss to Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Dons record now stands at 0-3.
