Texas High School Basketball - Northside toppled by Olney
November 22, 2024: Vernon, TX 76384 Olney Cubs (Olney, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Northside Indians (Vernon, TX), 33-23 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Olney advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Cubs travel to Crowell (Crowell, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, November 23. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-3.
The Indians now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Petrolia for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. Northside will face a Pirates squad coming off a 51-29 non-league loss to Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-5.
