Tennessee High School Basketball - Dobyns-Bennett defeats Volunteer
November 22, 2025: Kingsport, TN 37664 The Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) basketball were winner over the visiting Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), 75-67 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest DeKalb for a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 26. Dobyns-Bennett will play a Panthers team coming off a 78-19 league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Volunteer falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Daniel Boone (Gray, TN) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 24. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Daniel Boone won 68-64 in their recent non-league bout against Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN)
