In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Maine Central Institute Huskies basketball team scored a decisive 40-2 victory over the Richmond Bobcats.

With the victory, Maine Central Institute advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Huskies travel to Sumner (East Sullivan, ME) to battle the Tigers in a C North contest on Tuesday, December 2. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a D South contest, on Saturday, December 6. Richmond will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
