Louisiana High School Soccer - Academy of the Sacred Heart knocks off Bourgeois
November 22, 2025: Gray, LA 70359 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals (New Orleans, LA) and the host Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA), saw Academy of the Sacred Heart's soccer squad triumph over Bourgeois by a count of 8-0.
The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last match, University Lab achieved victory over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Braves now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Assumption for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. Bourgeois will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
