Louisiana High School Soccer - Sulphur nudges North Vermilion
November 22, 2025: Sulphur, LA 70663 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Sulphur Golden Tors soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the North Vermilion Patriots.
The Golden Tors (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, New Iberia got by St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Patriots play the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) in a Division II District 4 outing, on Tuesday, December 2. North Vermilion will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Erath (Erath, LA).
