Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) backers were thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team topple the host South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA), 80-60 in a non-league game.

The Bears now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Whittier for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 3.

With the loss, South Pasadena falls to 3-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to La Salle (Pasadena, CA) to face the Lancers in a non-league outing on Monday, December 1. The Lancers enter the outing with a record of 2-2. La Salle won 70-50 in their recent non-league outing against Whitney (Cerritos, CA)
