Louisiana High School Soccer - Port Allen toppled by East Ascension
November 22, 2025: Gonzales, LA 70737 East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, East Ascension moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hammond (Hammond, LA) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Monday, November 24. The Tornadoes go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Hammond lost 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA)
Next up, the Pelicans confront the Liberty Magnet Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, November 25. Port Allen will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to East St. John (Reserve, LA).
