The Union County Yellowjackets basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal to 53 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spartanburg Day for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 24. Union County will meet a Griffins team coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Woodruff (Woodruff, SC). The Griffins record now stands at 1-0.

The Bengal (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shannon Forest Christian (Greenville, SC). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Shannon Forest Christian ran past Broome (Spartanburg, SC), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
