The V.R. Eaton Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Creekview Mustangs to 39 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Krum for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 30. V.R. Eaton will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Bowie (Bowie, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-2.

The Mustangs (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pinkston (Dallas, TX). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record.
