Texas High School Basketball - Waco topped by Copperas Cove
November 23, 2021: Waco, TX 76710 The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Waco Lions to 38 in the Bulldawgs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldawgs now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lampasas for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 30. Copperas Cove will battle a Badgers team coming off a 56-33 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 8-3.
The Lions (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX). The Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Mansfield Legacy prevailed over Red Oak (Red Oak, TX), 52-45, in a non-league contest.
