November 23, 2021: Effingham, IL 62401 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Marshall Lions (Marshall, IL) and the host St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL), saw Marshall's basketball squad overcome St. Anthony by a tally of 65-45.
With the victory, Marshall improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Richland County (Olney, IL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Richland County lost 72-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Pana (Pana, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 29. St. Anthony will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 48-26 non-league win over Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL).
