Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View can't hold off Desert Vista
November 23, 2022: Tucson, AZ 85742 The Desert Vista Thunder basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Mountain View Mountain Lions to 42 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Thunder now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tolleson for a non-league contest on Friday, November 25. Desert Vista will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 50-37 non-league win over Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-1.
The Mountain Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Westwood was edged by Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ), 50-37, in a non-league bout.
