Illinois High School Basketball - Herrin crushes Sesser-Valier
November 23, 2022: Sesser, IL 62884 Herrin Tigers (Herrin, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sesser-Valier Red Devils (Sesser, IL), 57-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Herrin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Cairo (Cairo, IL) to play the Pilots in a non-league bout on Monday, November 28. The Pilots go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Cairo lost 82-20 in their recent non-league bout against Normandy (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals (Norris City, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Sesser-Valier will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
