Texas High School Basketball - Alexander holds off Stratford
November 23, 2024: Laredo, TX 78041 The Alexander Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Stratford Spartans to 43 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Weslaco for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. Alexander will confront a Panthers team coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Stratford falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Jordan (Fulshear, TX) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 7-1. Jordan lost 58-56 in their recent non-league game against Harlan (San Antonio, TX)
