Texas High School Basketball - Itasca nips Alvarado
November 23, 2024: Itasca, TX 76055 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Itasca Wampus Cats basketball team scored a close 46-39 triumph over the Alvarado Indians.
The Wampus Cats (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Moody (Moody, TX). The Bearcats go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Moody nipped Hubbard (Hubbard, TX), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Adamson Leopards (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 25. Alvarado will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Leopards go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 56-49 non-league loss to Turner (Carrollton, TX).
