November 23, 2024: Mercersburg, PA 17236 Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA), 79-63 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mercersburg Academy advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Blue Storm host Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Sunday, November 24. The Lions enter the match with a record of 4-0. Springdale Prep won 80-53 in their recent non-league match against Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA)
The Cadets now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peddie for a non-league match on Sunday, November 24. Benedictine will face a Falcons squad coming off a 75-54 non-league loss to Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
