Texas High School Basketball - Gregory-Portland nips Rowe
November 23, 2024: McAllen, TX 78501 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Gregory-Portland Wildcats basketball team scored a close 44-42 triumph over the Rowe Warriors.
The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors & Cherokees go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Tuloso-Midway was tipped by King (Corpus Christi, TX), 52-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 26. Rowe will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Lobos go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 34-24 non-league win over Economedes (Edinburg, TX).
