Texas High School Basketball - South Grand Prairie holds off Iowa Colony
November 23, 2024: Iowa Colony, TX 77583 The South Grand Prairie Warriors basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Iowa Colony Pioneers to 36 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sagemont for a non-league game on Saturday, November 30.
With the loss, Iowa Colony falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 2-2. Almeta Crawford won 51-39 in their recent non-league game against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX)
