Texas High School Basketball - Axtell routs Lometa
November 23, 2024: Lometa, TX 76853 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Axtell Longhorns basketball team scored a big 35-5 win over the Lometa Hornets.
The Longhorns (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Rosebud-Lott smashed Lometa (Lometa, TX), 35-23, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 25 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Lometa will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
