The Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) basketball edged the host Carter Green Hornets (Strawberry Plains, TN), 62-55 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Happy Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, November 29. Unicoi County will play a Warriors team coming off a 55-30 non-league loss to Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
