In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting St. John's Islanders basketball team scored a good 52-39 triumph over the Cathedral Academy Generals.

The Islanders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston Collegiate (John's Island, SC). The Sundevils go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
