Texas High School Basketball - Loop defeats Christ the King Cathedral
November 23, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79413 The Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) basketball were winner over the host Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions (Lubbock, TX), 43-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Kress for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. Loop will play a Kangaroos team coming off a 59-23 non-league win over Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Christ the King Cathedral falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Golden lions travel to Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Wellman-Union won 41-33 in their recent non-league bout against Loop (Loop, TX)
