In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Granger Christian Knights basketball team scored a good 45-28 triumph over the Columbus Christian Crusaders.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage Christian (Dyer, IN). The Defenders go into the South Shore contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Heritage Christian was topped by Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL), 35-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Phalen Leadership Academy Falcon (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 26.
