Mississippi High School Basketball - Raleigh can't hold off Stone
November 23, 2024: Wiggins, MS 39577 Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS), 43-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Stone upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Tomcats travel to George County (Lucedale, MS) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 1-2.
The Lions now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Picayune for a non-league match on Monday, November 25. Raleigh will face a Maroon Tide squad coming off a 50-12 non-league win over Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 3-3.
