Alabama High School Basketball - Sylacauga sneaks past Southside
November 23, 2024: Sylacauga, AL 35150 The Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) basketball edged the visiting Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL), 58-55 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Aggies now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee County for a non-league bout on Monday, November 25. Sylacauga will play a Warriors team coming off a 54-35 non-league win over Piedmont (Piedmont, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Southside falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, December 2.
