Louisiana High School Soccer - Ouachita Parish knocks off New Iberia
November 23, 2024: Monroe, LA 71203 The Ouachita Parish Lions soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets to 2 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Haughton for a non-league bout on Monday, November 25. Ouachita Parish will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Northwood (Shreveport, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, New Iberia moves to 0-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
