South Carolina High School Basketball - Woodruff tops Newberry
November 24, 2021: Newberry, SC 29108 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) and the host Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC), saw Woodruff's basketball squad knock off Newberry by a count of 70-53.
With the victory, Woodruff upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Landrum (Landrum, SC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 30. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 2-0. Landrum won 68-22 in their recent non-league test against Liberty (Liberty, SC)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield Central for a non-league test on Friday, December 3.
