Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the visiting Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), saw East Wilkes's basketball squad overcome Parkland by a tally of 53-39.

With the victory, East Wilkes improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC) to confront the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 30. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
