The Jonesboro Hurricane routed the host DeSoto Central Jaguars basketball team by a final score of 55-30 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hurricane face the LaVergne Wolverines (LaVergne, TN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, November 25. Jonesboro will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 74-67 non-league win over Pine Bluff (Pine Bluff, AR).

With the defeat, DeSoto Central moves to 3-3 on the year. The Jaguars host Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to face the Golden Wave in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 28. The Golden Wave enter the game with a record of 2-3. Tupelo won 46-41 in their recent non-league game against D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS)
