Illinois High School Basketball - Dyett ripped by Rock Island
November 24, 2023: Rock Island, IL 61201 The Rock Island Rocks basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Dyett Eagles to 35 in the Rocks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rocks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carver for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. Rock Island will meet a Challengers team coming off a 62-47 non-league loss to Dyett (Chicago, IL). The Challengers record now stands at 1-2.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Little Village (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Little Village triumphed over St. Rita (Chicago, IL), 48-34, in a non-league contest.
