The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball nipped the host Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC), 56-55 in Friday's non-league test.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Mooresville was tipped by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 97-49, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Porter Ridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28. Lincoln Charter will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 88-47 non-league loss to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
