Georgia High School Basketball - South Gwinnett tops Morrow

November 24, 2023: Morrow, GA 30294

South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), 58-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Gwinnett upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Northside (Columbus, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Northside lost 85-37 in their recent non-league bout against Greenforest (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Morrow will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 61-55 non-league win over Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA).
