Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the host Pebblebrook Falcons (Mableton, GA), saw Mount Vernon's basketball squad hold off Pebblebrook by a tally of 83-80.

With the victory, Mount Vernon moves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA) to face the WolfPack in a A D1 Region 6 match on Friday, December 1. The WolfPack enter the match with a record of 2-2.

With the defeat, Pebblebrook moves to 1-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Norcross (Norcross, GA) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25.
