The Clay-Chalkville Cougars thwarted the host Muscle Shoals Trojans football team by a count of 44-27 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Clay-Chalkville upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Parker (Birmingham, AL) to encounter the Thundering Herd in a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. The Thundering Herd go into the outing with a record of 12-1. Parker won 35-20 in their recent non-league outing against Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL)

With the loss, Muscle Shoals moves to 11-1 on the season.
