The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) and the host Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX), observed Lovejoy's football squad defeat Texas by a count of 43-21.

The Leopards now own a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Oak Cliff for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Lovejoy will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 42-31 non-league win over Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX). The Bears record now stands at 11-2.
