November 24, 2023: Flora, IL 62839 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL) and the host Flora Wolves (Flora, IL), saw Altamont's basketball squad wallop Flora by a tally of 76-34.
With the victory, Altamont improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Dieterich (Dieterich, IL) to play the Movin Maroons in a National Trail challenge on Monday, November 27. The Movin Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Dieterich won 36-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL)
Next up, the Wolves play the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 27. Flora will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Golden Aces come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 50-44 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, IL).
