Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), 59-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ashe County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 1-0. North Surry won 49-45 in their recent non-league bout against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)

Next up, the Blue Comets play the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Asheboro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 64-45 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
