Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), 60-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jacksonville upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Fightin' Indians host Douglass (Douglass, TX) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Black Cats clash with the Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Mexia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 44-30 non-league win over University (Waco, TX).
