St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI), 50-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Anthony upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Moanalua (Honolulu, HI) to play the Menehune in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Menehune come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Moanalua lost 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. Konawaena will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tritons come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 51-33 non-league win over Brea Olinda (Brea, CA).
