The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Downey for a non-league battle on Saturday, November 25. Schurr will confront a Vikings team coming off a 64-5 non-league win over El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-0.
The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Franklin was overwhelmed by King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA), 48-21, in a non-league battle.
