California High School Basketball - Grant nudges Newbury Park
November 24, 2023: Van Nuys, CA 91401 Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA), 66-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Alemany (Mission Hills, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Alemany won 83-23 in their recent non-league bout against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 25. Newbury Park will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Chancellors go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Arleta (Arleta, CA).
